A Review Of…Frostheart 2: Escape from Aurora (Netgalley arc) *spoiler free*

I love this book!

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Puffin for my e-arc; getting my request accepted really made my day when it happened!

Title: Frostheart 2: Escape from Aurora

Author: Jamie Littler

Publisher: Puffin

CAWPILE: 9.86 (5 Stars)

Release date: 1 October

This is what my thoughts on the novel look like if you look inside my brain: fwjfejarggshfhshgsfaregdhggo. Below is what they look like when put into coherent, proper words and sentences, hehe.

OMG I loved this book it was amazing! It has probably become one of my favourite – of not my favourite – middle-grade fantasy sequel and series.

I loved the fact that we were thrown right back into the story from where the first book left off, which I always appreciate in a book series, and back into the action that we had in the first book.

I thought it was really well written, even more so than the first book; Littler’s illustrations and descriptive writing creating an awe-inspiring atmosphere and a vivid picture of what Ash’s world looks like.

The development of Ash, Tobu and their companions was done so well; how their characters changed in some ways, yet the same in others, made almost tangible through the author’s beautiful illustrations and writing style.

I won’t say any more about this amazing sequel (which will definitely be going down as one of my favourites of all-time), because if I do I’m certain I’ll spoil at least a small portion of what occurs within its pages and I definitely don’t want to do that, so this is where my review ends.

You have wings. Believe in them and yourself, and you will fly.

See you next time!

Kath xoxo
