Descendants of Erodis: Poseidon’s Cave

Descendants of Erodis

Poseidon’s Cave

By quarter to eleven the next morning Harry and I had eaten breakfast, showered and dressed, and were now waiting outside the hotel after checking out for our taxi which the front desk had kindly offered to book for us ahead of time last night since neither of us speak Greek.
Soon, we were walking along the beach itself, following the map of Greece printed before leaving England, which was marked with a blue line from our hotel to Poseidon’s Cave.

‘How far are we from the Cave?’ I asked as we neared the end of the beach.
‘The website we checked told it’s only reachable by boat, but a friend of mine has been there before and told me there’s is an access point on the opposite side of the sea facing entrance, via a steep flight of stone steps’ he replied as we came to a stop at the end of the beach; warm blue-green waves lapping at our feet.
I turned and looked at him, ‘how do we get to these steps?’
Harry frowned, checking the Google Maps satellite images of the Karpathos area.
‘I’m not certain…unless we find the road leading to the steps, we’ll have to rent a boat.’
I sighed and thought for a long moment before coming to a decision.
‘We’re going to look for those stairs.’

Hey lovelies, how did you find this shorter chapter? The last of the chapters for this week will be going up tomorrow and the next two will be going up Monday :).

You have wings. Believe in them and yourself, and you will fly.
