Read: 13th – 18th August

My Rating: * * * *

I read this as part of the NEWTs back in August, for Ancient Runes – Exceeded Expectations: one of the most ancient books on your shelf that you haven’t read yet.

After The Complete Illustrated Stories of Hans Christian Andersen, which I’ve had since I was a baby (I was never going to finish that by the end of August – let alone September, I mean there are nearly 1000 pages!), Winnie the Pooh: The Complete Collection of Stories and Poems is the second oldest book I own.

It was a little confusing throughout the book, because the first letter of some words that perhaps shouldn’t have been were capitalised which threw me off as I read all the stories, and found it quite odd – though I’m sure Milner had a reason for writing them so.

However the illustrations in this book are beautifully drawn and the stories are short, sweet and funny in a cute way.

Stay true to yourself, and never let anyone or anything deter you from the course you wish to take.
