Eve of Man by Giovanna & Tom Fletcher

Eve of Man

Read: 21st July

My Rating: * * * * *

I’ve not read anything by these two before – though I’ve heard and read many great things about their work (I also love Tom’s music which is not related but is a good starting point haha) and was excited to start this despite starting it a little late due to ARCs and life stuff. Right then, let us get into my review of Eve of Man!

I honestly don’t know where to start…I love the dust jacket and the cover underneath they’re both so cool!

I also enjoyed every word, page and chapter of this book from start to finish, and loved Eve’s character too; she’s so smart, strong-willed and determined among other things – and how her relationship with Bram develops is so cute! Though, I won’t go into that as may spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read it yet. The world in which Eve and the other characters live in was so well described: felt like I was looking at the Dome and the “outside” and could see and hear and smell everything – I only feel like that with a book that I really love and get into.

I must say though, I really disliked Vivian and Dr Wells for various reasons I won’t go into as they may also contain spoilers but if you’ve read the book and feel the way I do about them, then you may also share the same reasons.

What are your personal thoughts on the book,if you’ve read it? Leave them in the comments, or feel free drop me an email – katharinasinead@gmail.com with “My thoughts on Eve of Man” in the subject line if they’re are a little spoilery.

Stay true to yourself, and never let anyone deter you from the course you wish to take.

Much love,

Kath xoxo
