An Ocean of Minutes by Thea Lim

An Ocean of MinutesRead: 28th June – 3rd July

My Rating: * * * *

This novel is one of the most….hmm, how do I put it? Thought provoking.

All the way through the book questions were constantly going through my head, questions like: who are the people behind this corporation that Polly agrees to work for? And what are they like?; ooh! What’s going to happen next?; what is that, exactly? I have absolutely no clue what that is; what on Earth is up with this guy?, and other questions which kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, and most of them were answered as I progressed through the book.

It did throw me off a bit that it would occasionally switch between timelines, but I love books with even a hint of Sci-Fi in them, so I was able to overlook them.

This book had me hooked almost the whole way through, I thought it was very well written and the descriptions of the surroundings within the book were so vivid.

Stay true to yourself, and never let anyone deter you from taking the course you wish to take.
