Mid-year Reading Goals Review

Hello my dears!

So, we’re about half-way through the year and it’s now time for me to review how I’ve been doing with my reading goals for the year with you guys…I think I’ve done okay, despite the fact most of the past six months have been filled with writing and editing for me.

Right then, let’s get to it 🙂

Goal no.1 – Read 60 books

I’m nearly there on this one at around 40 books – only 20 to go!

Goal no.2 – 6:1 ratio

I’ve been doing very well at this I think – there are a few books I’ve pre-ordered…but because they’re not out yet or with me yet, I don’t count them hehe. Books bought with gift cards really don’t count, because I’m not using my own money hehe, and ARCs don’t count either.

Goal 3 – Read at least 1 non-fiction book a month

Been surprising myself with this one, as I’ve been doing relatively well at reading 1 non-fiction a month – even if the book isn’t all that long.

Goal 4 – Read a minimum of 3 chapters a day

This is the one I’ve been having most difficulty with, because of the fact that I’ve been spending a lot of time writing and editing the past 6 months or so, haha.

How have you guys been doing with your own reading goals? Would love to know 🙂

Stay true to yourself and don’t ever let anyone deter you from the course you wish to take.

Kath xoxo
