Read: 2nd-21st April
(With thanks to Bookbridgr and Headline Publishing)
I found the story intriguing when I read the blurb on Bookbridgr.com and although I don’t read a lot of Crime Fiction I really enjoyed reading it and loved that it was set in Ireland – partly in Rome, but mostly in Ireland as it part of my ancestry with my dad being from there.
What I really liked about this book was the fact it has a strong kick-ass female character as a lead in the form of Fidelma, with her companion Eadulf and a warrior named Aidan assisting her.
The chapters I did have a little trouble with as some of them were lengthy, which is why it took me so long to finish haha: whenever I read two chapters, I’d leave it and read some of another book and then come back to it again.
Love you guys, as always.
Stay true to yourself and don’t ever let anyone deter you from the course you wish to take.
