Although I did receive this as an ARC, I wanted to take my time and savour it which is why it took me until a few days after it went into stores to finish it.
Wow…just, wow! I think I loved this more than The Ninth Rain, which is saying something because the first in this new trilogy by Jen Williams was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I thought the romance blossoming between two of the key characters was utterly adorable (pst! I thought the special connection between the two of them was there was there long before they even realised it) and there are two other characters whose romance is a little difficult because they love each other but haven’t said it yet. I thought the action throughout the story was really well written, too.
I also cried…a lot in both anger and sadness – but I won’t say at which point in the story that happened.
Love you guys, as always.
Stay true to yourself and don’t ever let anyone deter you from the course you wish to take.
