Books/Book Related Gifts I Got For Christmas!

Hello my lovelies, I hope you had a lovely Christmas and got what you wished for, and that those you gave gifts to were happy with them šŸ™‚ – and this is also my 100th post, I can hardly believe it!

So, without further ado here are the books and book related presents I got for Christmas!

This is probably my favourite present, as it was my first book box, from Book Box Club Ā –Ā  Ā in fact, I loved the December box so much (thanks mum and dad!) I will probably order the January one for myself haha.

I love this gift, an original with its protective sleeve that makes it hard to take a good photo of it, especially because I’m such a big Harry Potter fan!

I’ll talk aboutĀ The Art of Howl’s Moving CastleĀ first šŸ™‚ Howl’s Moving Castle (2004) was the first anime movie or TV show I ever watched, when I was barely a pre-teen (about 8 or 9?): it sparked my love for the , and I’ve loved the movie ever since so when I discovered it on Amazon, it went straight on my wish list, and was delighted when I got it for Christmas.

Now, I surprised myself withĀ The Unexpected Truth About AnimalsĀ by Lucy Cooke, as I don’t read a lot of non-fiction but I seemed particularly drawn to this one, and after reading the description on Amazon (I get stuff from them a lot haha – I’m not sponsored by them at all, though) I wanted it even more!

I don’t remember where I read aboutĀ An Enchantment of RavensĀ by Margaret Rogerson,Ā  an Instagram post maybe? But, anyway, the book description pulled me in, and then, after clicking “look inside” and reading the preview I wanted it even more.

And finally,

I love my notebooks! So it’s a big thank you to my younger sister for getting me these, and since you can start a novel in a notebook I thought to include these in the post.

I got other gifts, including “Hogwarts Alumni” pyjamas, but I didn’t think them suitable for the blog post.

Stay true to yourself, and don’t ever let anyone deter you from the course you wish to take.
