I didn’t read a lot of books over the past two months, but I do have two favourites.
Drakenfeld by Mark Charan
I only recently finished reading this, and although it is classed under generic Fiction (though there’s murder involved), it possessed an element of Fantasy, because they’ve got gods and goddesses that they pray to, talk of spirits having something to do with events, and mythology – though only through books mentioned within the story- and I’m not usually one for murder/thriller novels (I’m not one for the blood and stuff, and…shivers but I liked the Fantasy and Mystery elements. The one thing that I found somewhat slowed the novel a little, was that there was a lot of description of the location the character is in.
Prince with Benefits by Gabriela Cabezut
As I said in my review (click here to read), I’ve read other stories that follow the same sort of storyline (though not necessarily a prince and a normal girl), but I loved the two protagonists and thought it was well written.
What I’m currently reading:
Undercover Princess by Connie Glynn
