Hello lovely readers 🙂
I’ve had this blog for over a year now, and have received some views and likes, and even gained some followers over that time, and so I’d like to know a bit more about those people who have taken an interest in the topic that I post about. Books. So I’ve listed a few book-related questions for you guys below, which you can simply copy and paste into the comment section. I have also answered them – my answers are in bold next to the questions, so you can learn a little more about my bookish interests, if you don’t already from looking at my About Me page 🙂
What is/are your favourite genre(s)? Fantasy, Rom-Com, Holiday (if that’s a genre, I love books written around Christmas or Easter, or an actual holiday or bus trip a character’s on) General Fiction, and some Romance and Mystery – but mostly Fantasy.
What are some of your favourite books/ book series? (I know the decision of “favourite book?” can be hard, so I opened up the question to allow to you add as many as you want)- I’m The Summoner Series by Taran Matharu, Step Back in Time, The Summer of Serendipity, Letters from Lighthouse Cottage and The Little Flower Shop by the Sea by Ali McNamara, Moon Chosen by P.C Cast, and the Shiver trilogy , to name a few…
Do you have a – or more than one- least favourite book? I can’t say that I have one, but a few have made me cry quite a bit, and I don’t like being sad, because I’m usually smiling all the time.
Is there a book you would happily read over and over or have done in the past? And/or are there multiple books you love to re-read? Oh yes, definitely; I read the FALLEN series by Lauren Kate at least three times over between the ages of 16 and 19, and I would happily re-read the Summoner series (see Q2) again – which I might actually do over the first few days of next year- and I love to re-read the Harry Potter books, which you may know I am currently doing for a 20th Anniversary fan-fiction project.
Are there any books or book series that have been made into films or TV shows that you particularly liked, or disliked? Feel free to give a (carefully worded) reason as to why. Harry Potter for one, though I love the books more, When Marnie Was There – I read the book by Joan G. Robinson and then watched the movie which I loved a whole lot more as the book took me a while….any others? I liked the movie adaptation of Eragon by Christopher Paolini, but was a little disappointed by it because it missed out or changed a lot of bits from the book.
I hope you liked this little blog update( I look forward to seeing your answers), the next one will be along soon.
Stay true to yourself, and don’t ever let anyone deter you from the course you wish to take.
