The DEEP and The CROSSING Of INGO by Helen Dunmore (re-reads)

The DEEP – I feel like there was more adventure and suspense in The DEEP than the first two. I felt as though I was right there with Sapphy (and the others), and was mortally afraid during some parts of it with her- especially when she was thrown from the current and away from Conor and Faro.

The CROSSING OF INGO – The CROSSING Of INGO may be my favourite of the INGO series, despite being the last book, because it was the most important; Sapphy and Conor are about to go on a very important and possibly dangerous journey (though it’s not just the actual journey that’s dangerous, but you’ll have to read the book to find out why) along with the young Mer also making it, including Sapphy’s friend Faro. I also cried for a while, but I won’t say where or why as it will ruin it for first-time readers.

Stay true to yourself. Don’t ever let anyone deter you from the course you which to take.

Kath xoxo
