Hello my lovelies, it’s time for another book review!
I had never read Jeff Wheeler’s books nor heard of him until I discovered Fireblood under the Sci-Fi and Fantasy section of the Kindle Store. It already had more than several reviews – good and bad, which I find refreshing because only seeing one type of review only gives you one side of the story and can be biassed- and after reading the novel’s description I downloaded a sample, read it and loved it so I decided to buy it.
Barely four chapters in, I found myself unable to pry my eyes away from its digital pages until I either felt my eyes drooping because I was reading late in bed or realised it was time for me to head to college for the day.
Although I found parts of Fireblood hard to follow at times, I enjoyed reading it immensely and felt as though I was in the story myself experiencing all that the characters did.
On the other hand, I thought that there should have been a little more on Paedrin and his past as well as Annon’s time with the Dryad whose tree he saved .
If you are interested in buying Fireblood it is available at the Amazon Kindle Store for £3.98 and the paperback version is £7.64 from the Amazon store (please note this is not an Ad)
I hope my review has not given too much about the book away, that you guys enjoyed reading it and I will be back with another blog post soon.
Bye!
